Solar City Tyres is an independent Bridgestone and Bandag Franchise dealer.

We at Solar City Tyres embrace the principles of conserving our unique Australian environment and treating our natural resources with care.  We accept responsibility as a corporate member of the community, and we seek to conduct a profitable business which demonstrates our commitment to the environment through the retreading of tyres, and recycling of waste tyres and rubber dust.

Solar City Tyres is committed to:

• Adopting a reduce, reuse and recycle approach.
• Complying with environmental legislation, standards and codes of practice as the absolute minimum requirement.
• Maintaining plant and equipment which protects the environment.
• Including environmental considerations in investment decisions.
• Expecting similar standards from suppliers, retailers, contractors and customers.
• Involving the community, where appropriate, on environmental issues that may affect them.

To support this commitment Solar City Tyres will:

• Progressively implement and maintain a reporting system which keeps senior executives advised of environmental problems.
• Establish, publish and review environmental objectives.
• Ensure that through communication and training, all employees and contractors are made aware of this policy.
• Encourage all to assist and enhance Solar City Tyres to meet its environmental awareness and performance goals.
